Preparation:
Fry the onions and German Shepherd in olive oil and the basil (savor
the sweet aroma!) until brown.
Fill the bottom of a large oven proof dish with the German Shepherd
and carrots until evenly distributed. Spread the mashed potato over
the shepherd and grate the cheese over the potato Bake in a medium
oven for 40 minutes. Best served hot.
Note
Other breeds also work with the same recipe but cooking times can
vary. Best consult your local kennel club. Use labrador for a more
"chickeny" flavour. A ready supply of meat can be found,
if not in the supermarkets, at least tied up outside.
